Every once in a while, I think I haven't written much. Then every year I sit back and add up the rough word count.

For 2008, I wrote right around 90,000 words, from "Every Point Counts," which was a sports fic written "live" during the Michigan-Florida bowl game on Jan. 1 to the eighteenth chapter of "Blythe's Story," which is shaping up to be the Big Bang fic that I wasn't going to write this year (I hit the 20,000 word mark on that with the last chapter).

Of course, that's shy of 2007, when I somehow fit in 127,000 words. Go figure.

Now I'll have to finish updating my fic index list. And write some more.
