Here goes:

1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
A. No

2) What was your dream growing up?
A. To be a doctor...and a mom. Hated chemistry, so I gave up the first (though I still adore medicine), and haven't done the second either. Sigh.

3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Oil painting--I find it soothing, but I'm not very good at it.

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. A Vanilla Milkshake.

5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Carrots!

6) What was the last book you read?
A. A biography of Tchaikovsky, though I'm working on Elizabeth George's With No one as Witness right now.

7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Aries

8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. I had my ears pierced, but I'm allergic to alloys, so they got infected and closed up (tried it a second time and the same thing happened, so I gave up). Tattoos are verboten in my religion.

9) Worst Habit?
A. Oh dear. I have something of a temper, but my worst habit is probably impatience.

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. If I knew you by sight, yes. If not...you don't do that in NYC and stay safe.

11) What is your favorite sport?
A. I love to swim, even if I don't get to do it very often. In the watching department, probably tennis (which I like to play, too).

12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. I prefer to consider it "pragmatic."

13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Probably would make conversation. I've been stuck in elevators before.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. I got Bell's Palsy and it killed my facial nerve and some of the muscles in my face.

15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. I am insanely punctual.

16) Do you have any pets?
A. Not right now, but I used to have a dog (a sheltie, as a matter of fact...oh, how I loved him) and desperately want one again.

17) What if i showed up at your house unexpectedly?
A. I'd say "hi" and try to feed you (such a Jewish stereotype, I know).

18) What was your first impression of me?
A. When I read your work, it was that you were an awesome author. When you responded so nicely to my feedback, that you were a lovely person.

19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
A.Um. You know. I have no opinion on them at all. The only clown that really freaked me out, was the one from the TV movie they did for It.

20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. Well, I just had reconstructive surgery to help me get back some of my smile, but I really do wish I could look like I did before the whole Bell's Palsy. I'm not a fan of my body as a whole, but the face thing is a real downer.

21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. Oh, I would so be your conscience.

22) What color eyes do you have?
A. Blue

23) Ever been arrested?
A. Nope

24) Bottle or can soda?
A. Either.

25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
A. Some to charity, some to buy furniture for my new apartment, and I'd save some.

A. I guess my house. Or the library.

A. No.

A. Read!

A. Not particularly, though when my temper gets unleashed, I've been known to indulge.

I have read your House fanfics for quite a while now but since my English isn´t perfect (and I´m a perfectionist) I didn´t dare to post a comment. But today is a very special day: it´s my I-don´t-give-a-damn-day and so I take my chance to tell you that you are a wonderful writer. In the last year or so I learned a lot about you and now I think it´s only fair if you get to know something about me, too. Otherwise I would start feeling like a spy or a stalker or somebody who likes to watch people while he prefers to stay unseen (how do you call those people?). Well, you made it easy for me. I just had to answer your questions and so I did. Here are my answers:

1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
A. No. No relationship at all - serious or funny.

2) What was your dream growing up?
A. Being an archaeologist or psychologist. And I am both!!!! Ain´t that something?

3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Playing an instrument - piano for example...

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. A single highland malt and definitely NO ice.

5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Corn or pumpkin.

6) What was the last book you read?
A. A booklet on psychology and philosophy - very thin, only 30 pages.

7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Cancer.

8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. NO! Brrrr. Horrible!

9) Worst Habit?
A. I am very lazy.

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. Sure. But would you want a ride in an old and very messy VW Passat? Did I mention in number 9 that I´m messy?

A. Watching soccer.

A. I´m a cynical optimist.

A. Listen to your wonderful stories and if you would prefer to be silent I would talk your head off.

A. Death of somebody I love.

A. Clowns are a nightmare. I HATE them. I could beat them up but then the makeup would smear and that would be even worse....

A. I would be taller. But just a bit.

A. Always a crime partner. How can I be somebody´s conscience if I don´t have one?

A. Travel.

Aw, your English is fantastic, and much better than my German. (I spent a month in the Heidelberg area and can get along fairly well in terms of survival language skills, but writing is well beyond me).

I'm glad you stopped by. Don't feel embarrassed at all. Do you live in Berlin? I haven't been there yet.

Yes, I live in Berlin. It´s an amazing city. I live in the Kreuzberg part of Berlin and it´s changing very fast these days. In my street alone four shops and cafés opened in the last two or three month. It´s a sleeping beauty waking up right now. An interesting place to be....
And well, like I wrote: be my guest (if you can stand the clutter).
