The show was pretty good. Dylan had a hot band, and the acoustics helped a lot but still, yeah, hard to decipher. A lot of songs were "mumble, mumble, mumble, mum-just like a woman" at which point you'd go: "Oh, I guess I do know that one."
I took the running class because I was doing sprint triathlons this summer (which include a 5K run) and I was tired of always sucking and getting passed on the run. The focused training has really, really helped, to the point where I did a 5K a few weeks ago, and felt like I was just getting warmed up when it ended.
My niece, who is a marathoner, swears by her training group, so I decided to give it a try. I can't imagine ever getting to the marathon level, but the local half-marathon -- the Dexter-Ann Arbor run -- is quite the local event, and I've thought it would be good to do someday, and it seems like this may be the time to keep pushing and go for it.
