*sighs* I...am not looking forward to the possibility that you will cover Greg getting kicked out of Hopkins.
Not at all. *shudders*
I mean, John already seems to go looking for things to add to his list of why Greg isn't the son he deserved and...well, getting kicked out for cheating is well-deserved, of course -- but I have to think about how it's compiled on top of everything else John's ever found wrong with his son.
The reasons why he does things never matter -- his choices never matter. No, it's just the outcome and even then, it doesn't always measure up. It didn't matter that John wasn't the one who had to deal with being handicapped.
Greg didn't know how lucky he was. Lucky how, I just have to ask. It's rather like John's always decided that since Greg didn't fit the mold of what he wanted or expected, it must be something Greg did rather than any differences in who they were as people.
I really wish that being able to see an actual change in that perspective had been shown. But no, that's boring. House being injured in any way and dealing with those consequences is boring.
*...just can't understand how that wouldn't appeal to DS in some way*
*exhales* I think I've digressed. It's very interesting to see how Greg can't force himself to do what those 'in charge' expect even if it would make his life 'easier' in the long run because he knows that just wouldn't work. I love seeing how integral that is to his person and not just because I have the exact same tendency.
