Sorry, but I don't agree with that. She's a woman who's been a witness to their battle for years. In having Greg do the eulogy, she saw it as a way for her son to finally move past that anger. John is dead and Greg needs to acknowledge and deal with that. What I loved is that she wasn't at all embarrassed by him, didn't cringe at what he was saying, didn't make apologizes for him -- just accepted it as who he is, anger and all.
