Basically, I see House as an unreliable narrator of his own story. He remembers everything that's bad. It's his nature. He's not a glass half full or a glass half empty kind of guy, he thinks someone stole the glass. On the other side, you've got John, who is equally unreliable. He thinks he did nothing wrong. Blythe occupies a middle ground. She remembers the good -- like John walking the hall with a crying baby -- as well as the bad -- John's complaints about the crying baby. There were times things happened beyond her control, but I also see her as tempering the worst. John says Greg can't have supper because he's late, she brings Greg a sandwich later.
