In terms of the notes ... those came solely from me. Originally I'd written that it was an original tune, and described it, but later, when I had House musing on the dream and on the situation, I wanted him to repeat it. Since I didn't have a keyboard available, I googled "virtual piano" and played with some notes until I found a sequence I liked.
