Thank you. I wanted to get across the idea that John wasn't just an ass for the sake of being an ass. I've seen some fics that just want to paint him as an unrighteous terror, or "jealous" of his own son. I just think that there's a lot of gray area that goes into the decisions you make when you raise and child, and where those decisions lead you.
