Lovely if terribly depressing story. Blythe never getting the garden of her dreams is heartbreaking even more so because she doesn't let that stop her enjoyment of flowers. Little Greg giving her flowers because she loves them the most was so sweet then you hit us with this: Greg could see from the look in Dad's eyes that he wouldn't let it go, that he'd still have to answer for everything later, when Mom wasn't there. and I'm cringing for poor little Greg. Summer means Wilson and Stacy means Spring. House loves summer and hates spring. That analogy makes me ridiculously happy. I think I'm going to agree with House about hating spring. It gets your hopes up for warmth and then dumps snow and freezing rain on your head when you dare to venture out.
